Sioux Munyon, President
Sioux Munyon founded Sioux Munyon Insurance
Services in January of 1992. Prior to starting her own agency, Sioux served as a surety bonding specialist with John Burnham and Company in San Diego for ten years.
While at Burnham, she refined her technical knowledge of the surety industry and its requirements, and developed an acute understanding of the needs and concerns of the construction and development industries. Sioux was responsible for surety clients with bonding needs in excess of $100 Million.
Sioux Munyon graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in business communications. She currently resides in Lakeside, where she enjoys showing draft horses, water skiing and camping.
Anne Wright, Surety Producer
Anne began her career in the surety industry having learned the business in the early 1980’s by working in her family’s agency in San Diego.
Since that time, Anne has broadened her experience and knowledge of the business through her position as a surety underwriter for a regional insurance company. Immediately prior to joining SMIS in 1993, Anne established a bond department for a large local insurance agency.
Anne continues to demonstrate her commitment to the construction industry through her involvement with various organizations. Anne is also a past president of the Surety Association of San Diego. As a recent past president of the San Diego County Chapter of the American Subcontractors Association, Anne continues to be very involved in this organization.
Anne’s outside interests include playing the piano, as well as bicycling and hiking with her husband and their beagle. Anne has two daughters and is active in her family’s church and stays involved in her community.
Cyndi Beilman, Surety Producer
Cyndi Beilman began her surety career in 1989 as an underwriter trainee. Over the the
past 15 years she has been an underwriter, bond producer and manager in various capacities. In 1995 she joined American
Contractors Indemnity Company as the branch manager of the San Diego location. The San Diego office quickly became their largest volume location and was consistently the most profitable branch for the eight years she was manager. In 2001 she undertook the role of Vice President of Field Operations and in that capacity supervised 21 branch office locations across the United States. In 2004 she became a Bond Producer bringing along her underwriting and management background to help a Statewide Bond Agency expand their commercial book of business and develop new opportunities for the company in the contract and subdivision arena. She recently joined SMIS to focus her efforts on providing superior customer service to her existing book of surety clients and on development of new accounts in Southern California.
Cyndi graduated
from Indiana University with a BS in Retail Merchandising. Her husband Steve, is also in the construction industry as Sales Manager for Ahern Rentals. She has three small children, Hannah, Drew
and Casey. The family reside in El Cajon and enjoys golf, desert and river activities | |
